Turmeric Juice with Calamansi

Turmeric is also known Curcuma longa of the ginger family. Scientifically-proven health benefits of turmeric, such as the potential to prevent heart disease, Alzheimer's and cancer. As an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, curcumin may help improve symptoms of depression and arthritis.

Turmeric Juice with Calamansi Recipe: 2 pcs. peeled turmeric (2 inches) 8 pcs. calamansi 2 tbsp. honey 3-4 cups of water

Preparation: Boil 3-4 cups of water. Add smashed or grated turmeric. Let it boil for another 10 mins then turn off the fire. Allow it to cool for 5 minutes. Add calamansi and honey. Stir well. Serve it warm or cold (just add ice).
